I couldn’t resist the temptation to test the ASUS Zenbook S 14 in gaming, even though it’s not designed for that. So I ran the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark . I was impressed by how well the Intel Arc 140V GPU performed on the Zenbook S 14.

I also wanted to test how well this laptop’s cooling system works, so I ran a test where the processor was under full load for a few minutes and checked its temperature.
As you can see, the ASUS Zenbook S 14’s processor didn’t get too hot, reaching a maximum temperature of just 57 degrees Celsius (134.6 Fahrenheit).

Battery life has improved significantly since the introduction of Copilot+ PCs , and the ASUS Zenbook S 14 performed admirably in this regard. However, I also wanted to objectively measure battery life and compare it to other laptops. I used the PCMark 10 Modern Office battery test and was pleased to see that the Zenbook S 14 lasted 16 hours and 34 minutes – an impressive result that proves it’s far better than any previous-generation Intel-powered laptop.

ASUS promises that the laptop battery will charge from 1% to 60% in 49 minutes. I measured the charging time myself, and in 45 minutes it reached 57%. In 95 minutes it reached 96%, and a full charge to 100% took 130 minutes.

After analyzing all these results, I came to the conclusion that the ASUS Zenbook S 14 is a laptop with good performance for most tasks. It excels in battery life, AI capabilities, web browsing performance, and gaming.
